Avobenzone (Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, CAS 70356-09-1, molecular formula C₂₀H₂₂O₃, MW 310.39) is the most widely used broad-spectrum UVA filter in sunscreen formulations globally. It absorbs across the full UVA range (310–400 nm) with peak absorption at 357 nm, providing critical protection against UVA-induced photoaging and skin cancer. Avobenzone is approved for use in sunscreens and photoprotective pharmaceutical products by the FDA, EU, and regulatory bodies worldwide at concentrations up to 3–5%.

Packaging & Export Logistics
Avobenzone is supplied in 25 kg fiber drums with aluminum foil-lined PE bags to protect against light and moisture. Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C, protected from light. Shelf life is 24 months from manufacture date. The product is non-hazardous for transport. We provide light-protective over-packaging for ocean freight shipments to maintain quality during transit.
Shipments depart from Shanghai and Ningbo ports. Typical transit to EU ports is 22–30 days; to US East Coast 25–32 days. Air freight available for sample and urgent orders with 5–7 day delivery to most destinations.
