Glass bottles (500 mL, 1 L, 2.5 L) are available for laboratory and small-scale users. DMSO has a high freezing point (18.5°C) and should be stored at 20–25°C to maintain liquid state. Shelf life is 36 months. Classified as non-hazardous but flammable — transport as Class 3 Packing Group III under IMDG/IATA.
