Maltodextrin (CAS 9050-36-6) is a polysaccharide produced by partial hydrolysis of starch, characterized by its Dextrose Equivalent (DE) value typically ranging from 3 to 20. In pharmaceutical formulations, maltodextrin serves as a versatile filler-binder for tablets and capsules, a carrier for spray-dried flavors and active ingredients, a bulking agent in lyophilized products, a coating agent, and a source of rapidly available carbohydrate energy in oral rehydration and nutritional formulations. Its bland taste, high water solubility, and excellent film-forming properties make it invaluable across multiple dosage form platforms.

Packaging & Export Logistics
Supplied in 25 kg PE-lined kraft bags, 25 kg cartons, or 750 kg / 1,000 kg FIBCs. Store in a cool, dry environment at 15–25°C, protected from moisture and strong odors. Shelf life is 24 months from manufacture. Non-hazardous for transport. Container loading: approximately 22–24 MT per 20′ FCL.
